Archived — FedNor invests $50,000 to shine the international spotlight on cutting-edge research at SNOLAB

To promote Nobel Prize-winning results from the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory at SNOLAB, the government of Canada invested $50,000. Specifically, this FedNor investment was used to develop the traveling exhibit New Eyes on the Universe. The exhibit features 10 modular stations that highlight the history of SNOLAB and its research results, and showcases experiments related to dark matter, supernovas and neutrinos. Before embarking on its worldly travels, the exhibit opened at Canada House in London, UK, on Canada Day 2016, to coincide with the opening of the Neutrino 2016 conference, which attracted more than 20,000 delegates from around the world.
