Federal logos requirements for CFDCs

CFDCs are to include the appropriate departmental logo and Government of Canada wordmark in all publications and advertising describing or promotingFootnote 1 the products and services funded in whole or in part by Government of Canada through FedNor. The logo and wordmark must be in a prominent place and in a typeface no less than 50% of the size of the CFDCs logo and identity. Colour versions of the logo and wordmark shall be used when a colour printing process or colour advertising product is selected. Where other Federal Departments are also responsible for supporting the activities of the CFDC, the Government of Canada wordmark should replace the departmental logos.

Federal logos requirements for CFDC websites

CFDCs must include on the home or main page their website an acknowledgement of the Government of Canada’s contributionFootnote 2 and include the appropriate departmental logo and Government of Canada wordmark. Hyperlinks shall be included from those logos to the departmental and Government of Canada websites. The logo and wordmark must be in a typeface no less than 50% of the size of the Recipient’s logo and placed in such a way that it can be viewed without scrolling down the page.
